Materials from the English Speaker's Gathering 2010

Nov. 26, 2010 – The “English Speaker’s Gathering” was held on evening after the monthly service at the Jiba.  The event was held at the 38th Moya from 4:30pm to 8:00pm.  The event consisted of 4 English-speaking regional “status updates” and a dinner with the repeated encouragement to attend the Tenrikyo Hawaii Convention 2011 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The regions, in this order, were presented:

1. United Kingdom Mission Centre (Hendon, London)
2. America Mission Headquarters (Los Angeles, California) &
   New York Center (Flushing, New York)
3. Oceania Centre (St. Calamvale, Australia)
4. Mission Headquarters of Hawaii (Honolulu, Hawaii)

Each region was had photos and statistics displayed to show how the Tenrikyo regions were doing in each respective regions’ progress in spreading the teachings of Tenrikyo.

As you can see, there is the Tenri Forum 2006 book in the above photo.  They were handing them out at the front for free at the front.  There was a website with content from the book, but the website was taken down because during some kind of server transfer, the data for the website disappeared.  Whatever the case, I’m going to try to get that data back online.
